well i finally got a scb2000p took some time in the mail . got an ezcap that works on my laptop i have removed the filter made a homemade reducer from a binoc lens unsure if it will work , its all coming into focus so there to try so im ahead of where i began and looking forward to trying it out i have noticed i get a camera flicker every few seconds when the laptop is plugged into the mains power. maybe ground issue or different power sources ? it is fine and running around 25fps on the laptop battery no flicker and looking good but obviously recording on the laptop battery will limit record time anyway looking forward to having a go with this and hopefully some clear skys ahead thanks for the help guys si

Si, looking forward to seeing some screen grabs of what you see through your gear.
Sounds good so far except for the flicker.

Probably just a thruput issue if your laptop is older.
Congrats on the progress!
