Hi All After videoing Jupiter, Mars and Saturn I was disappointed to find a black, blank screen, not even a speck of light. Even though the Preview window was showing each item well. Single shots came out OK.
I put it down to the exposure settings. Obviously, I can't use a light meter, (even if I had one).
Any tips, advice or links would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Pete.

Hi Davy, Thanks, I thought that if I got the correct exposure for still images it should have been the same for video. I have two main frame speed settings, 20fps and 60fps, depending on what the resolution settings are, and an exposure range of 1ms to >9 seconds. Guess thats a lot of trial and error LOL. What I'm not sure about is the Shutter Type. Its a 'Global Shutter'. I have heard of Electronic and manual shutters but this is new to me. Any help in that department appreciated ?. Not much chance of experimenting over the next week or so, we're back to rain and clouds in this part of the world. Catch you later Cheers Pete
