Well those are welcome additions to the lineup especially as a lots of folks use PC instead of TV. Its just a shame that I have just got the Pro with the wireless exposure control. Too late to send it back for an exchange, although having a wireless exposure controller does mean one less cable and it is fairly simple to use.
It seems that the new PC version of the Jr Pro is the same price, but the Extreme an X2 are cheaper than their original version.

Allen Its not one more cable, the exposure is controlled over the 8pin mini din just like the extreme. The circuit for the wireless exposure controller is removed. And its not to late, my camera is en-route to rock now to be upgraded to the PC version. Now you know why I closed my thread about making a pc controller. I contacted Rock with questions regarding the circuitry of the wireless controller, thats when he informed me of the new version. Since this new version was coming out, and he would upgrade my camera, I felt no need to continue my experiment. If anyone wants to upgrade, I'm sure Rock will do it for a small fee. To me it is worth the downtime, as I hate fumbling with the wireless controller in the dark. It will be nice to control all camera functions in miloslick. Since I always use a computer, its just easier for me. Hemmi

I wonder if its a mistake with the pricing for the Jr pro, the extremes are between $200 to $250 cheaper so I would of thought the pro would be roughly in the same ball park as they use the same controller

The upgrade would be nice if it was as simple for me as it is for you Lee. I would have to ship it back overseas, and may even run the risk of having to pay more duty when the new one comes back.
Actually thats something I have always wondered about. If you send a cam back to the usa for repair, would you have to pay duty again when it comes back into the UK??

No Allan, there is no customs duty on repairs.
I just recently had something returned to me from Rock in Canada and because it was a repair it attracts no duty. Import Duty is for sales, not warranty work or repairs/alterations. (This is for Australia, you might have to check your country's laws)

Thanks for the info Guys, but as I use my wireless exposure intervalometer indoors I have no problem with seeing it. I do find it quite easy to use, so taking into account the return postage back to Mallincam and then the postage fees back to me again, it is not a viable proposition to upgrade. I can easily spend the money elsewhere.
