EDIT: Update of infoYes! There is a NEW home for Night Skies Network broadcasting. The old site is still working for anyone not ready to switch over yet. The old site will stay functional until the new site is working 100%. The new site appears to work at 100% now, but occasionally the Audio does break up but that problem seems to have been fixed. As soon as Joe the owner of Night Skies Network is happy that all is well with the new site, he will shut down the old frustrating site.
The old faulty site is now closed For now the new site has a different address until the change over. The current address for the new site is: new.nightskiesnetwork.com When Joe closes the old site he will use the original address on the new site. (nightskiesnetwork.com)
The new site is now using the original web address: www.nightskiesnetwork.comPlease try out the new site, and discover all the features that come with it. And the Audio finally works in ALL browsers and platforms Broadcasters will have to re-register in the new site, but it's very easy. My Channel in the new site is 'Ken James' See you in there

Click on it and in the pop down selection select the RED TEXT 'Leave Meeting'
Then click on the OK buttonEnter a Name and click 'Join' and now you show as the new name.

I saw yesterday a few set ups on the nsn home page,, confused,, 2 home, I now know these were channels,, I've found in my page that I could change home to,,, brigadoon Scotland.. and it saves it, so getting set up OK in nsn now.. Just need to set up my astronomy rig and wait on clear skies. Possibly look into getting new focus controller,, had issues last time I used it

Made an investment for getting back into astronomy and possibly broadcasting when the apocalypse ends in Scotland. I have the asiair but until I get mobile it's redundant for likes of plate solving in the flat So I was looking to upgrade PC wise and store prices have risen on desktop and laptops, I wanted a Windows 11 set up, so I found a mini PC on first light optics website,, So bought this,, can use it on my TV or astronomy kit.. dual use.. www.firstlightoptics.com/computers/beelink-gkmini-mini-pc.html

Yeah I enjoyed being there,, bit of a back to the future job,, zapped me back six years in time. Weird how it was all the same folk,, You, Jim,cc, jarrod,, full circle,, I keep looking in to see if there any broadcasts,, really enjoyed them back in the day. I've advertised it in astronomy Scotland,, just over 3000 members so hopefully it draws folk in,, it should it's a great concept and a much better set up

I would like to give it a go this time round. I signed up but didnt get the verification email so will try again later. Havent made much use of clear nights lately. Had covid jan 13, now recovering from spider bite. Had a spider bite this time last year and was on antibiotics. It was only one of those tiny little things that you would think wouldnt harm you , but on the eyelid makes you feel pretty sick. Anyway got out Friday night . Havent progressed much with the imaging. this is ngc 1365, rasa 8, zwo 290, 10sec x 18. cant get myself to learn about the post processing just yet.
cheers Paul
