Ken the only way round it I've found is, click on recent threads , then it goes to a list with them, and then click on the right side of the thread under the members name where it shows how long ago it was posted and it should send you to the last member to post..don't know if it makes any sense and you have to be logged in.

Strangely, that doesn't work on my laptop John. I go to the 'Home' Page and Click on 'Recent Threads' and a similar page opens up, but not the same as yours. The attached pic shows you what I get. It opens up a list of threads with an amazing amount of posts that I have never seen in threads I didn't even know existed then if I click on the posters name where you say, it takes me to that persons Profile page, not to a post. And this is with me logged in. Something fishy going on. And as you can see in the attachment, even threads that aren't updated show up. They aren't new. here's what I see in ' Recent Threads': Attachments:

Hmmmm . . . making that last post I lost the 'Preview' ability. I kept clicking on 'Preview' to preview it before I posted it but preview wouldn't open! This website hates me Hmm. . Preview isn't working in this one either

Hello Guys
Well done guys in getting the forum up and running. I recognise most of your usernames guys, I think I may have seen them somewhere before, lol.
Seriously now, thanks guys for your help before in the past in getting my PD1 and Israeli Watec etc up and running and I am now looking forward of submitting some input into the forum once I have passed the crawling phase of this new part of my astronomy hobby.
Kindest regards, Hadyn - Isle of Man

uncle john here. keep up your work, tweeking the system, briliant. if i make up a thesis on the conception , gestation , and evolution of this site ,i should get a free ticket into university. back to serious things, the boss took me out to the odeon cinema (i paid} to see "GRAVITY" . the 3D is great. bits of space junk came out of the screen and skelped my head, ive been blinking ever since. the international space station makes an appearance . the graphics for weightlessness took 3 years to make. if you have any composite shots of the station is it possible to bring them up on one of the boards ,thanks . john.

Hi www.heavens-above.com gives all passes, just put your long and lat co ords in or pick them off the map then go to ISS and it will give you passes and exact timings. Heres a meteor cam catch of the ISS and the resupply capsule Cygnus following before docking you can just make out the Cygnus craft following at the top right corner of the video about 45 secs in the light pollution kills it after that. Very nice Carl! Random question. If you some how managed to get this in view with a scope could you see everything in detail? Like all the pannels?

well with it being Christmas, I thought it would be a bit quieter, but over last 24hrs there has been 227 guests visiting the forum a couple of new members and a bit of work done on the forum,,an admin section has been added due to unforeseen developments and to clear up some points on the use of the website hopefully this will save any confussion and give some structure to the forum. .................... admin section is strictly for admin use only................ clearing up a point I made earlier a supplier has been contacted by carl on the use of the site but has not responded to his message and continued to post,i have sent a second message and hope to come to some agreement over the use of the site if admin messages are ignored then we may have to look into this further as no guidelines were set to there posting on the forum,,the forum is for the advancement of indivuals using video equipment and if we have retailers joining there will be guidelines and a code of practice worked out with them for the good of both parties....davy
