My "story" got published on the abc.net website! Spreading the word about the wonders of observing with a camera ... pleased as punch as I've been submitting stuff like this on various media websites for quite a while. I've got Space Gandorfs number and I'm going to call him to have a chat. He's popular on Brian Cox's Stargazing Live show and hopefully he can spread the word about the stuff we do and love.
They are excellent write-ups Howie. Short and to the point!
But I did notice that the second article doesn't say what you used. Hopefully the people reading the second one have red the first one which does say you used a Canon DSLR

Ooops shortened it too much! I originally put them up on the Brian Cox Stargazers webpage hoping they'd put them on the TV show. It limited the blurb you could write. Being someone who gobs on heaps ... I struggled keeping it short! Looks like I shortened too much and omitted the Canon bit!
Stargazerslive didn't use it, but then yesterday got email message the ABC web picked it up as an Aussie "Story". If anyone asks in the comments area on ABC website then I'll put the answer in there.
