Probably taboo subject on a video astronomy forum but. Were all adults apart from us big kids wae scopes π
We have a section,, all other images done by any other means,, lol or astrophotography as others would call it,, Now we have budding astrophotographers who do video astronomy on here,, names withheld protect the innocent
Do we change it,, to video astronomy ,, astrophotography section Or leave it as is
Me,, I could not care less ,, I always found that certain techniques can cross over and it's more evident these days. But as the name on the tin say's Video astronomy forum Do we stay true to the name or evolve further,, Do we go with EAA,, basically covers any electrical piece of kit that can observe the night sky with..
Your forum to mould guys

I'd vote to leave it as it is. As per me saying on my thank you post to AVF admins ... I reckon we've got every exposure time / stacking time covered as it is right now. Ie all images done by any other means.
cheers

All is good how it is. The term 'EAA' is only a CN thing. No-one else calls it that. If you Google 'Video Astronomy' many pages come up covering hundreds of websites. Even all the other Astronomy Forums. If you Google 'EAA' only CN posts come up, and a few rare references on obscure sites. And EAA isn't really the correct term for what we do. Neither is it actually Video AStronomy any more, but that's the term it is best known by. The only change I recommend is to move the 'Other Astronomy Images' into the list of 'VIDEO ASTRONOMY TECHNIQUES & IMAGES', not leave it out on it's own like something not wanted
