I am just getting back to observing after a 20 years hiatus. My last scope was a C90 Mak. Loved it. Simple rugged, took it on many journeys up and down the California coast in the mid nineties. I got started in the late 70s with a very cheap 4in reflector, just good enough to see saturn as a bright blob in a disc.
As I write this I am awaiting delivery of a Evolution 8 Edge HD with starsense and a R2 imaging kit.
I really like live prossessing stuff sounds and images) so I am combining that with astronomy. Looking forward to sharing my first night of clear skies.
