One of these months I will get a chance to contribute to the monthly images!!! Stoopid weather Same here Ken, we were supposed to get some clear sky here last night, but nothing but thin cloud around. Only the Moon and the brightest stars were visible. Not even worth getting the binoculars out. Then there is a travelling circus here shining spotlights up into the sky. The silly twice yearly clock change happens this weekend and it will be dark an hour earlier, so the stargazing season starts next week......cue the cloud cover.

Yeah Harry, we have the opposite now. Have to wait until about 10pm for Astronomical Dark, and in the middle of Summer it goes up to around 10:30 - 11pm. Hard for kids at outreach events. Waaayyyyyyyyy past their bedtime before we can even start

The camera has managed to capture the delicate branches of dark dust that cross the bright nucleus of the galaxy. A small and hidden gem. Skywatcher 200/800 + Risingtech IMX224+Risingsky 10x15" stack/mean. Gain max. No moon nor filters and reducers.

!Sensacional! hombre. (Le hace falta el nombre de la galaxia.) Such lovely delicate structures to have been picked up after traveling through space for so long. I'm sure the reality of the dust lanes is nothing less than monsterous and complex! I can't wait for clear skies again!!! Someone must have bought a flaming BIG telescope for the weather to be so shitty for so long, with no repreve insight...
