www.waverleyexcursions.co.ukThis is what we call a trip down the water, sailing down the Clyde on the Waverley paddle steamer. Early rise an on the road back of 8am for a 9am departure from the quay next to the Glasgow science center, first stop largs then over to the isle of Arran then a trip round to Campbelltown ,,we were meant to sail towards the island of mull.. The island that is the home of duart castle ancestral home of the clan MacLean.. but pretty chippy seas made the captain cancel that section of the trip.. So we spent two hours at Campbelltown. We left at 5om to head return route,, was meant to be back in Glasgow at 10om,, ended up 11.15pm due to a fast tide slowing the boat. Knackered 😂 and the bald head took a berry look due to the sun 😎 head nipping with sunburn
