Recent studies have led to the remarkable discovery that the interstellar gas M 64's in the outer regions rotates in the opposite direction from the gas and stars in the inner regions. M64 Y NGC 4826 / GX / COMA BERENICES/ "OJO NEGRO"/ EXPO= 20X15" / FWHM=4,8 / Altitud=30ยบ / Moon=0 Picture was taken with my Skywatcher 200/f4 + ATIK infinity color + ATIK software.

Nicely captured Elpajare.
I was unaware of the new finding that the outer regions rotate in the opposite direction from the gas and stars in the inner regions. Amazing.
