Did the Pier to Pub 1.2 k swim at Lorne on the Victorian Surf coast yesterday. 5000 swimmers. Came 10/580 in the 60 to 70 category. Up early each morning either running ,riding or swimming. (Actually the running is not much better than a shuffle these days).
Triathlons and Videoastronomy dont mix. Particularly in summer Paul

Paul, I tried to see you on the TV when they were doing the story but didn't spot you. They said there was a shark or two but they stayed a bit out from you all. They showed the aerial video of it. I hope you kept your mouth shut as you swam through the muck near the waters edge On the aerial views it looked like solid brown sewerage But great to hear your results! 10th in your category is fantastic Well done!

Ken,I am disappointed you didnt see me. I was the bloke in the black wetsuit.
I am not a fan of big Noahs. I kept to the middle of the pack.
Have had 2 clear nights. Got the scope out for an hour then off to bed and up early for swims. This Sat we have a race called "Point Danger 1000". Sounds tough eh.... It is actually swum around the corner at a spot called "Cosy Corner" Paul
