Well chrimbo is soon us again and as the title goes,, oops I done it again,,, or should I say Carol,,, It's my job as hunter gatherer each year to brave the wild elements of tesco super market at hunt for the Christmas turkey,,I was a bit late this year and got it on Tuesday night and it settled in nicely in the freezer and yet again for the third year Carol took the bohemian of a turkey out late to defrost and I done my usual and went last night a bought a fresh one that as usual gets reduced in price to get rid of,,,so we now have two turkeys lined up for the festive season,, and going by the packaging they should feed 36 folk,, amazing,, so me loving turkey I told Carol Ile just eat the smaller one myself πππππ told her not to bother with roast potatoes for me.

Wow, Americans and people in the UK are really into Turkeys for Christmas. I don't know anyone, or have ever known anyone, in Australia that has Turkey for Christmas. The big thing in Oz for Christmas is a giant Ham, Chicken, and Prawns. Most people buy a huge leg of ham that feeds about 50 people for a week In this house we buy a Kilo of sliced ham so we don't waste a whole leg, and we don't have to slice it. My daughter-in-law who works at the supermarket where we buy it does Pig out Davy, and enjoy
