Lol ,,were all comedian's today,,😂 Been racking my brain on observatory design and think I have came up with a design that will work. So this is the style of shed, 8 x 6 shed I can go max ,I have a 6ft between greenhouse and rear fence and a little leeway and I recon I can go 8ft wide,,from side fence to garden path.the small side of hut will face to rear fence,,south facing. I need 3ft for the foot print of the mount and scope. The roof will be halved width wise to allow a 4ft roll off roof this will give me a view Southwest to south, which isn't the worst view, the half roof can be put over path,,may need to amend size as it would be sitting against next door's shed. Will need to concentrate base and put in a pier to get as much free space as possible.

The foot print of the heq5 in collapsed leg is about 40 inches and I have the extension tube so i probably could just mark the floor and move scope into position.

The roll off roof parking has a path under it leading to back gate that leads to an open communal grassed area,, can't block off gate

Yes I've been on this website, bottom two are the style I'm after to cut down on weight,,and easier to watertight when I half the roof

The 7'x5'5" would give you a bit of room to sit in there with your gear. The extra 1 foot is a big difference when you are sitting inside it 6'x6' is bit tight with both the gear AND you.
