I intended to try out my Orion 8" telescope last night but it turns out I need another weight. The one that came with the mount isn't quite enough. So I have one ordered. It should be here tomorrow. Anyway, I have a work trip scheduled for next week so I thought I'd give my Celestron 70 Travel Scope a try. I'm going to pack the Telescope and the Nexstar head in the travel scope's backpack. The tripod will go in the checked bag. I bought a TPO #8 Yellow and an Astronomik Luminance filter. These are with the ZWO camera. All open clusters but the full moon was raging. They look great Rob. M6 and M52 seem to have the best colour in the stars.
