I reached out to a new club to see if they were more active and had move outreach opportunities and made contact with one of the club leaders. It turns out that he has just received a Revolution Imager kit and is very intrigued with Video Astronomy. We're having a get together on Saturday if the weather holds and I hope to get a chance to expose him to our crazy world and help him out if he needs it.
I've pointed him to our forum but haven't seen him pop in yet.
Maybe other members of the club will be interested too. The old club was certainly not. Would be nice to have a couple people who are into Video in the area.

That is great Rick. Video folk are few and far between.

Andy in Mo and AstroEd are only a couple hours from me.
I've been working on finding a location for a Mid-West US Video Astronomy party.

Same here Rick. One member in here (davo59) is about 1.5 hours away from me, another (Jaybee[Paul]) is about 2 hours. The next nearest (Chris) is about 12 hours. But fortunately 2 members of our Astro Club are starting to show interest in Video now

There is a friend of mine in Bendigo who paid for an APU-1 18 months ago on my suggestion.(He still talks to me) Hopefully he will get into video astronomy one day. Paul
