Hi Folks,
Seeing Ken's reply to my post re the UK astro Video Group made me realise just how fast the past two years have gone, with illness and other projects taking up my time, I have missed seeing so many posts and astronomy in general. Also, the weather down here while having great cloud free days, after sun set the clouds roll in, putting the lid on any nighttime observing/photography.
Clear skies to all... Shevill

Yes Shevill, you have had a busy 2 years with your illness etc, and then building your greenhouse. Plus the lousy weather we have had. Good to see you also have an abundance of veggies. We've started giving our Surplus to the Community Food table in Ballarat. It is for anyone who can't afford food to come and get free veggies from local growers. It's great to see it doesn't get abused, and often the people taking veggies put something on the table in return like toys for kids or home-made craft. No-one asked them to do it, it just happens. Anyway, I hope you are on the improve and also get clear weather to get some Astronomy done

Ken, I wish more of the world was like that. Here, the first 3 in line would scoop up everything if they were allowed -- even if it would then go to waste.

Great looking tomatoes Shevill. I'll have to get daughters relish recipe to you ... may be biased (!) but everyones who's tasted it at the Clermont and Emerald markets reckons its tops. On a side note, everytime I eat really fresh home grown produce I always laugh about the ad's from "The fresh food people" (for those who don't understand that, its our big Woolworths supermarket chain in Oz). So many ex-workers have exposed stuff sits around in cold storage for months to attempt to ripen as everythings sent to them unripened. Even their "baked fresh daily" bread dough comes from Ireland! Suppose it gives all their chemicals time to rise

As an example, my youngest son is assistant manager of the Fruit and Veg dept at a large supermarket chain (Woolworth's opposition here in Oz), and he gets his veggies from my garden not from his work
