Thought I'd post up this suggestion for those with 350D or any other camera which doesnt have camera control software. Not everyones cup of tea, but some might find it useful. (a) if your camera has the connection port ... buy one of those cheap eBay wired intervalometers like this ... www.ebay.com.au/itm/Time-lapse-intervalometer-remote-timer-shutter-for-Canon-DSLR-650D-600D-Camera-/221325508182(b) buy an Eye-Fi storage card to hold the photo's shot by the camera and which also wirelessly will transfer the shots to AstroToaster folder on your pc (Eye-Fi cards are a bit expensive, but can be used in any camera not just for your astro one). My little Nikon J1 has a built in intervalometer so I do still have to be near the scope to press the button to set of the series of shots. But there are no wires on the ground and also less to carry around in my backpack - as I use the J1 when hiking because of it being so small, light and compact for general shots as well as EAA. I can sit in my tent hidden from the Mossies and watch the shots build in AT. cheers Howie
