Note to all members and non members.
this post was to show support and sympathy to the french and other nationals who have lost loved ones.i have been asked to moderate this by davemartin88 who seems to disagree with the thread and posts. he has also asked to have his membership terminated.this will be done at a later date by myself.
My opinion and decision as I started the thread and made the first post I dont see any reason for it being removed, second post..yet again showing sympathy. Third post..it was on British tv that one of the terrorists had came in as a refugee and that france had shut down the internal borders.
where there is hurt and suffering in the world due to domestic or foreign terrorist attacks on defenceless civilians then we as a forum will show sympathy and compassion if we wish to do so..there were no religious or any other type of malice towards any person , culture or creed this would not be tolerated and the member banned. Davy,
While this website is for sharing of information related to video astronomy, there are on occasion world events so horrific that members will naturally desire to extend condolences to the victims and others in the impacted area. There are likely members of this forum from France, possibly even from Paris. If the posts contained political or religious comments then I would judge them to be inappropriate for a video astronomy forum. However your posts were simple expressions of sympathy and in my opinion not contrary to the rules of the forum.
