Good idea Davy and I wish you well with it. I might even be able to contribute some of my old Astrophotography results from back when I did it.

Sounds cool Davy, I'll definitely check it out when its up and going. I'm very curious about Astrophotography, but know I'm no where near ready for it.

Well, I have a Cannon 450D that has the full spectrum mod. I would love to do some A/P with it, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
I've seen quite a few Instagram users who do landscape photos with astronomical backgrounds and they are fantastic.
I definitely would like to learn more. And there are concepts that apply to Video too.

I have an unmodified 450d , seemingly they produce less noise than the newer cameras.yeah the landscape astronomy themes are intresting i think they are brilliant with the milky way In the background. .few guys are posting the aurora on a facebook frinds timeline and they are stunning..i looked about and never saw a thing at my home..

I used to originally use a standard ToUcam webcam for Lunar/Planetary Imaging and a Modified ToUcam for DSO's, then a Meade DSI (piece of crap), then I used a Canon 350d. The 350d is the camera I still use but I haven't done astrophotography for about 5 years now since I discovered Video

Ken, I've gotten as far as getting the T adapter on the camera, LOL! Yeah, no hurry Rick. The sky isn't going anywhere No, it is us on planet Earth that is spinning round and round. Something that confuses newbie astronomers, later giving us regular amusement when we remember how much hassle we had with Equatorial mounts in the early days. How is Rick doing? It's getting like reality TV on here!
