Separating the Mallincam side of video astronomy was a brilliant move by this forum, it keeps everything open in a equipment manufacturer sense. I searched all ways I could to find out beginner video astronomy information on SGL but it is just not there. Eventually I typed 'video astronomy forum' into Google and ended up here. Ken's videos are worth more than all the beginners information that is available on SGL to a newbie like myself.
However Mallincam cameras are mentioned on there and are obviously well respected on SGL, but there isn't much information there.
Sponsorship is brilliant, and nobody would be keen to pay subscriptions to keep a forum going, and then there is the time that the moderators take to keep it running, but sometimes sponsorship gets in the way of what the forum needs.
Keep up the good work mods, your work is much appreciated.

Hi harry. .sponsorship is good but it isn't needed here..proboards forums are free as long as you have tgere advertising on it. we have no sponsorship in here and are totally independent of any manufacturer or retailer and thats the way we will stay..the staff here do it for free because we love what we do. we do it to advance the hobby and we do this for our memembers. Mallincam forum is not sponsored by mallincam its a joint venture from this forum and run by ken. we would and can if asked to expand this service to other groups. Free and again its to advance the hobby.
