I was looking into getting a new sd card for the above camera and seen wifi sd cards,,, ?. never heard of them before, so I did a bit of digging and turns out there are two major vendors Toshiba with its flash air 3 card and eye-fi,,the Toshiba seems the more popular.. basically the compatable camera takes photos and they can be downloaded to smart phones ,tablets and pc,s.. can transfer video files as well.. would be not bad if hooked up to the canon 600d,on movie mode and transferring to computer without wires and a blutooth connection to the skywatcher allview. something new to try

Camera arrived today, quick look at it as I'm just in from work. OK it's secondhand but looks in mint condition, bit different from my canon 450d .. Live view on this camera looks a better option from 450d. Movie mode looks good, needs to set up on manual focus on lens flafs about a bit on AF mode..so no loss there as it will be getting bunged on the back of the ed80. Ordered a 32gb class 10 SD card says this is better transfer rate for video, camera came with a 16gb and two batteries.. So I believe I got a good deal. Next up will be a meikie pro battery grip for the setup.

Word of caution on SD cards via eBay..even if they have a high feedback rate check out the bad reviews.. A LOT of feedback was complaints of fake cards and not the right GB storage as stated(64gb was 8gb)when checked..also coming with virus's.

cant wait to see how you like the wifi card. sounds like something we can use for sure. one less wire is always good.. i wonder if it gives you cam control from software tho.. iam thinkin it dont. but let us know for sure.. i use APT to run my dslr's and wont change on that ..

Been imppressed with the canon 600d camera so I gave carol a shot of it when we took a trip to the forth rail bridge at Queensferry Edinburgh. .carol gave it a big thumbs up. .so I went and bought another one .. £220 all the kit except a lens delivered. .400 shutter count. I hope to fit both to my skywatcher allview.. something new to try. Both of us like photography so it makes better sense to me to spend the money on cameras I can use than my expanding cctv camera collection that I can't get out with.. carol looking to start doing some dark sky Photography on the moon ect.so pretty much set for dark skies now..fingers crossed

Do you mean youth racing cars... or youths on dirt bikes... and when you say Haunt, I'm thinking shades of past warriors trudging thru the mists!
